What happened in Bill Cosby's sexual-assault trial

Cosby, 79, was charged in 2015 with felony aggravated indecent assault shortly before the statute of limitations on Constand's claim expired. The TV star once dubbed America's Dad could get 10 years in prison if convicted.

Constand said she "never got hold of my phone records" before speaking to police.

"She said Mr Cosby asked her to meet her at the Bel-Air Hotel to talk about her career...."

Within 20 to 30 minutes she began to slur her words and had trouble seeing, she testified. She said that when she awoke, Cosby was naked and forced her to sexually gratify him with her hand. Constand told the court that she wanted to stop Cosby, but was "frozen".

Cosby reportedly hung his head in hands during Constand's testimony, as well as rolled his eyes and shook his head.

Constand is one of around 60 women who have accused Cosby of sexually violating them but the prosecution has gone ahead on just Constand's allegations due to the statute of limitations passing for almost every other of those claims.

Johnson testified on Day One that she lost consciousness in 1996 soon after Cosby pressured her to take a large white pill.

Ms Agrusa also spent a painstaking hour going over Ms Constand's phone records, hoping to show she changed her mind about the date she says Cosby assaulted her. He invited her to dine with him at his home. "And I believed he supported numerous athletic programs", Constand said. But she said he kept their next conversation short. Another time, she said, he placed his hand on her thigh. "I said, 'I did not, I just want to know what you gave me.' He said, 'Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait" and he wanted to speak to me near where the incident occurred". Instead, she said he responded, "I thought you had an orgasm, didn't you?"

On Tuesday, Constand, 44, took the stand to detail her accusations in public for the first time, describing how she met him alone at his home and accepted three blue pills from him that he told her were herbal remedies that would help her "relax". But in the end, it will come down, I believe, to one thing: Does the jury believe Constand is telling the truth?

"It was a very big burden on me, but. I could see two of him", and recalled that her "mouth was cottony". "And so, I just went along with it". Andrea Constand walks to the courtroom during Bill Cosby's sexual assault trial at the Montgomery County Courthouse in Norristown, Pa., Tuesday, June 6, 2017.

Constand's cross-examination will continue when court resumes Wednesday.

Mason testified Constand claimed she didn't report the 2004 incident to police until a year later because she was embarrassed by it and because of Cosby's profile in the community. At the same time, Constand said, she was taking Cosby a gift from a mutual acquaintance. The other was a voicemail left by Cosby's powerhouse attorney, Marty Singer, asking her mother to call to discuss an "educational fund" for her daughter.

"Why Camille is not here is something only Camille can comment on and she has chosen not to do so", Allred said. "Put 'em down, they're your friends".

Her claim is the only one to reach court because the time limits on all the others have run out. As day two of the Cosby case comes to a close, here's a recap of what's happened so far.
