Bill Cosby accuser 'froze' during alleged sex attack

She said she continued to visit Cosby because "I wasn't scared of someone making a pass at me or an advance at me".

Tuesday was the second day of Cosby's criminal trial, where he has been charged with drugging and sexually assaulting Constand.

Cosby, his good-guy reputation already in ruins, could get 10 years in prison if convicted of aggravated indecent assault.

Cosby's lawyer, Angela Agrusa, focused not on the details of the alleged assault but on other aspects of Constand's narrative, including discrepancies in several police interviews Constand gave in 2005 when she chose to report the crime a year later. The defense has argued the two had a romantic relationship, that Constand wasn't incapacitated and that the sexual encounter was consensual.

Agrusa contended that, after poring over her phone records, Constand realized she'd placed almost 10 calls to various friends the night of March 16.

And she trusted him as a friend and mentor. She viewed him like a father. She says she then felt paralyzed and helpless as Cosby groped her. He told a radio station last month that he will not testify, "What people want to say, want you to say, and how they maneuver-yes, I do have lawyers to protect me, "objections, ' 'sustained"-but I just don't want to sit there and have to figure out what I believe is a truthful answer as to whether or not I'm opening a can of something that.my lawyers are scrambling". Cosby grinned at the defense table as she struggled to explain them. According to CNN, the defense heavily underlined the fact that Johnson's claim ostensibly stemmed from verbal abuse by her boss, but Miller's memory of her teary deposition tracked closely with the version of events Johnson outlined Monday.

She met Cosby at Temple University in Philly where he was one of its most famous alumni and Constand was director of basketball operations.

The revelation came as Constand ended her testimony in the case.

His lawyers have highlighted "erroneous statements" she made to police. One time, he placed a hand on her thigh.

Specifically, testimony revealed Constand initially told detectives she had limited phone contact with Cosby after the alleged incident, however, phone records showed she had called him 53 times.

Mason, trained as a sexual assault response officer, said he got the impression Constand couldn't remember some details because of the effects of the pills. In court on Tuesday, Constand said she had been alone with Cosby before the incident.

They pressed her on why she called Cosby more than 50 times after the encounter and brought up an inconsistent statement she gave to Canadian police. I was frozen, and those messages didn't get there. Constand knew he was well connected and said she felt humiliated and confused. "I can only go based on who I've experienced, and at the end of the day, it's the court's job to find the truth of the matter".

NORRISTOWN, Pa. (AP) - The woman who accuses Bill Cosby of drugging and molesting more than a decade ago stood by her story at his sex-crimes trial Wednesday, withstanding hours of often tedious cross-examination that didn't produce the stumbles the TV star might have hoped for.

"Your bodies were touching, and you laid there for at least 15 minutes", Agrusa said of the night at Foxwoods, where Cosby had invited her to see him perform.

Cross-examination is due to continue on Wednesday.

Agrusa also recounted the details of the first dinner at his home some time before the night she claims he attacked her. He inquired about some facilities, the rugs and lockers in a women's locker room, so she showed him around.

On Tuesday, Johnson's mother, Pattrice Sewell, bolstered her daughter's story.
